Mid-week Adult Tennis Comps
Term one marks the start of our Adult Mid-week comps on Tuesday & Wednesday evenings. The comps will be run in a team format, open to a range of abilities from Improver through to advanced. A FREE Grading session will take place at the Malvern Tennis Centre on Wednesday 1st Feb.

Australian Open Adult Coaching Clinics
We will be operating a special Adult coaching Clinic during the 2 weeks of The Australian Open this year, commencing Monday 16th January. The clinics are open to ALL levels of players from beginner to advanced. Sessions will comprise of drill based learning, a cardio workout, fun games & matchplay. Interstate HotShots Challenge 2012
As part of our commitment to providing our young players with 'inspiring tennis experiences', VICTEN is proud to announce the first ever Interstate Hot Shots challenge match. The match is to be held on Saturday 14th January at the Orrong Park Tennis Centre from 3pm against the Northern Beaches Tennis Association from Sydney. Players aged between 8 - 12 are welcome to enter and we need our best team to win the Challenge Cup.

Kooyong and Oz Open Tours January 2012
Every January we are extremely lucky to have the best tennis players in the world in Melbourne. The VICTEN tours of Kooyong and Melbourne Park are great opportunities to see great live tennis and enjoy the amazing atmosphere of professional tennis. Bookings are essential, so to avoid disappointment book in early to get the day and time you want. Remember all term 1 bookings receive a FREE session at our holiday program...

Hot Shot Masters Challenge
The Photos from this weekends Hot Shots Masters Challenge. With over 100 kids playing a red, orange and green tournament this was one of the biggest single day events of its kind. Congratulations to Futures Tennis Academy for winning the event and many thanks to all those involved in organising the day, especially the Hot Shots department at Tennis Australia for providing such a great venue to hold the event. CRUST US OPEN JUNIOR CHAMPS
The Crust US Open Junior Champs were a major success with almost 60 players competing in the doubles and over 50 entrants in the singles. The difference in the weather between the two events could not have been starker, with the doubles played in beautiful spring twilight and the singles on a cold, showery night...click here to read the report>>>

Warrnambool Tennis Camp 2011
Congratulations to the VICTEN team which travelled down to Warrnambool for this years Easter Junior tournament. Angus Stott and Hugo Umbers were elected 'Players of the Tour' for their performance and attitude; while Sebastian Tabain was the most succesful tourist, claiming both a singles and doubles title during week long tournament.

VICTORIAN TENNIS ACADEMY HOTSHOTS MEET PAT RAFTER
Ten lucky VTA students were involveed in a Tennis Australia promotion and got the chance to meet legendary Australian tennis player Pat Rafter. The chance to get autographs, photo's and even hit with Pat were a special highlight for all involved.
The Tennis Hot Shots program is a Tennis Australia initiative designed to get more junior tennis players involved in the game. The VTA will be fully supporting the Hot Shots program...click here for more information on our Tennis Hot Shots coaching.
