Hit For Haiti
The tennis community made sure it made a strong statement following the dreadful natural disaster in Haiti. The games biggest stars and the Australian Open organisers were able to organise a charity event on less than 24 hours notice to help the devastated country...read about this great event>>>

VICTEN TRIUMPHS AGAIN
The Victorian Tennis Academy has claimed its seventh TopTenn Challenge in convincing style at the weekend. In a dominant display we won 80 sets to 50 in an great team effort.

Melbourne Cup Masters 2009
With some superb spring weather finally emerging the Melbourne Cup Masters show cased our best junior talent as competitors demostrated that the improvement they are making by working so hard during their lessons is paying off with some high quality and exciting tennis - well done to all involved.

Hot Shots Red Team Challenge
The 1st Victorian Tennis Academy Hot Shots Red Team Challenge was held Sunday 2nd August. It was a major success with over 40 competitors from the Orrong Tennis Centre, Malvern Tennis Centre, Elsternwick Tennis Centre and TopTenn Tennis Academy enjoying a fun morning of tennis.
Having children play the game from a young age is crucial to them enjoying tennis and learning the key skills of the sport; Serve – Rally – Score. Click the link below to see the great photos from the event.

Futures Challenge 
Congratulations to the VTA team who challenged the Futures Tennis Academy on Friday 10th July at the East Malvern Tennis Club. Nathan Ficatis [pictured] was one of our strongest performed players in a fantastic day of tennis.

VICTORIAN TENNIS ACADEMY HOTSHOTS MEET PAT RAFTER
Ten lucky VTA students were involveed in a Tennis Australia promotion and got the chance to meet legendary Australian tennis player Pat Rafter. The chance to get autographs, photo's and even hit with Pat were a special highlight for all involved.
The Tennis Hot Shots program is a Tennis Australia initiative designed to get more junior tennis players involved in the game. The VTA will be fully supporting the Hot Shots program...click here for more information on our Tennis Hot Shots coaching.
