The Victorian Tennis Academy (VTA) has been successfully operating in Melbourne for over 40 years and is now acknowledged as one of the leading providers of tennis services in Victoria, Australia.

Operating from three Melbourne locations and in selected schools, we’re committed to providing a welcoming and encouraging environment for players of all abilities.

About Our Club

The Victorian Tennis Academy (VTA) is committed to providing outstanding tennis services to the Victorian community.

Our award-winning organisation is built on a foundation of professionalism and excellence: VTA actively seeks, in all its endeavours, to impart passion and commitment for tennis as a “sport for life” to members of the community.

We offer tennis coaching, competition, Cardio Tennis, social tennis, court hire, and pro shop services to players of all ages. Join us for a trial session today to get to know the team, facilities and VTA community at one of our Melbourne locations.

Richard Foley

Director
Richard is a Tennis Australia (TA) Master Club professional and the founder of VTA. He has a wealth of experience including as a
board member for Tennis Coaches Australia (TCA) and sitting on the board of the National Coaches Advisory. Rick has a Physical Education Degree and has been in the tennis industry for 40 years.

Tina Keown

Managing Director
Tina is the Managing Director of The Victorian Tennis Academy and has worked in the tennis industry for 22 years, working with VTA
for 18 of those. She brings international experience as a player and coach. Tina is a TA Club Professional Coach, LTA Performance Coach and holds a National Diploma in Sport with Business Management. Based at VTA Oakleigh Tina is head of coaching and program delivery.

Jack Glennane

Operations Director
Jack is a Tennis Australia Club Professional Coach (Cert IV) and TA FITBIT Cardio Ambassador, helping with training and promotion of Cardio
Tennis in Victoria. Jack has been with VTA for 10 years and is the Operations Manager overseeing the delivery of tennis at Fawkner Park and Powlett reserve. Jack maintains an active on-court presence, coaching a vast range of players and programs.

Brontë Goodwin

Director of Girls Tennis
Brontë is the Manager of Fawkner Park Tennis Centre and VTA Stonnington. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography
with Accounting & Business and brings a wealth of knowledge in the tennis business. Brontë has been with VTA for 4 years and as the Director of Girls Tennis, has worked to develop, build and drive female participation and tennis programs. She holds a TA Junior Development coaching qualification.
Ethos: To inspire active, happy, healthy, self-confident young women
